On 29/30 of January 10 a selected band of hardened cyclists shall be braving the elements to cycle a tandem between the new and old lifeboat houses at Rye Harbour. This is a sponsored event and is part of the RNLI's SOS fundraising appeal for 2010. All are most welcome to come and mock, I mean support as the teams cycle for 24 hours from mid day on 29th through the bleak night and howling gales. Any alcohol proffered would be greatly appreciated. See you all there......please....and sponsor us.......please.......
The Rye Harbour cheerleaders will be there of course.....
Maybe even a giraffe on a bike.......who knows?? ;-)
