The Volunteer lifeboat crew at Rye Harbour lifeboat station are hosting a Cycle Ride for the annual RNLI SOS day appeal on Sunday 24 March. There are 3 routes – a children’s route 6km and an adult route, either 25km or for the more ardent cyclist 50km.
Registration will take place at Rye Harbour Lifeboat Station between 9am to 10am. The cycle ride will start between 10am to 11am. The entry fee will be £10 for adults and £5 for children.
The fund raising team will be providing soup and refreshments on the day, so why not come and join us.
This event was originally arranged for the 27 January but due to bad weather conditions had to be cancelled in the interest of safety of our supporters and cyclists.
In the event of bad weather, please check the Rye Harbour Lifeboat Station website at www.ryeharbourlifeboat.co.uk for an information update.
SOS Day is all about having fun and raising funds. Supporting SOS Day this January will help keep the RNLI's lifeboat crews trained and equipped for the year ahead. What a great way to really brightening up this otherwise dull month!
